State Exam Requirements: Yes, one—The CCMA exam, which is given with the course.

Minimum Age: Must be at least 17 years of age (applicants under 18 require written permission from a parent or legal guardian).

Radiography: Yes, there are additional requirements. Our program does NOT satisfy the training requirements to perform limited x-ray procedures. This is a specialty that requires additional education and examination.

- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification – Certified through the American Heart Association
- Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) License
- Background Check Guidance: Prior to enrolling, call the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) to ask about your eligibility to take the CCMA exam. If the NHA says you are not eligible, do NOT attend our program. If NHA says it’s ok and we accept you, it could still be a problem for hiring employers after graduation (as most medical offices run background checks).
